With a strong background in Art and Design, Leona implements set design and construction successfully according to the script. With a positive attitude and a quick thinking approach, she thrives on finding solutions to the multitude of tasks that present themselves on Set. Leona has worked on both Location shoots and Interior Sets for short films and music videos, often directing one or more assistants.
Recently she worked as the interviewer and producer on a documentary short film she created, called 'Grapes and Brown Bread'. The film is about a 76 year old greek man called John Costis who was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and warned that he may end up in a wheelchair. Taking responsibility for his own well being he set himself on a diet of grapes and brown bread and a more healthy lifestyle, which led to his full recovery just weeks later.
