| Leona writes Children's stories based around the central character of Amber, an 11 year old girl who has recently moved home from the City to the Countryside. The stories explore the adventures Amber has in this new land and the magical friends she meets there. Leona is inspired by the beautiful countryside from the UK, in particular ancient sites such as stone circles, earthworks and rock formations. Her first short story written in 2009, "The World We Cannot See", is particularly drawn from the landscapes of Somerset, Cornwall, Ireland and Scotland. It has been published in an anthology called ' Suitcase of Stories' by Bridge House Publishing and is now available to purchase from Amazon and Waterstones.
